About 10 years ago, I worked in an electrical company. Somehow, a rather large construction company hired us as a subcontractor. They decided to complete the construction of a 5-storey building, which began to be built under the Soviet Union. With the collapse of the country, construction stopped. At that time, the “box” had already been erected, it remained only to complete the internal work: plastering, plumbing, electrical wiring ...
The house stood for 20 years ... So we are engaged in electrical installation ...
Although the house stood unoccupied for a long time, it was surprisingly not looted by the local population.
I work once in an apartment on the top floor. A storm with a perforator socket boxes on the interior wall ... I feel that something is starting to spin in my head. I stop working. Everything is fine. I turn on the puncher again and after a few seconds, somehow everything around starts spinning again ...
And then I realized what was the matter! The wall that I am working on has no connections at all with either the ceiling or the adjacent walls!!! The masonry is simply laid out on the floor, and there are 5 cm gaps on the top and sides!!! And it does not fall only because one single wire enters the upper plate from the wall (to the lamp).
That's why it seemed that the head was spinning - the wall was swinging like a pendulum from the impact of a heavy perforator.
The builders, of course, fixed the wall ... And a couple of years later, I told this story to one of my friends who moved into this house. As it turned out, he settled just in the same apartment! Well, there is a coincidence...
Why did I say all this? And besides, in modern construction there are no less such jambs.
Here, take this photo. Just like in my story, the builders did not fix the masonry of the outer wall. Here are just the consequences of her fall, can be more impressive!
The wall is okay ... You can write off the sloppiness of a single bricklayer.
And what can be said about this jamb ??? Well, how could it be about .... two window openings
The yellow line shows how far the two window openings indicated by the arrows are shifted to the left.
For a whole brick!
Looks like someone already got p…. and a man in a cap widens the opening to the desired level.
For those who think that only our builders can mow, I want to demonstrate a house built in one European country.
Maybe, of course, I don’t understand something there in high building art, but these doors “to nowhere” somehow suggest that the designer was in an inadequate state when he “drew” the project of this “box”.
Perhaps you will say that these are doors for evacuation in case of fire, and the stairs have not yet been built ... I doubt it! Beams for storey areas would have already been removed ...
And here's an example of a "jamb" of windows.
Just think ... - the window opens outward !!! And who will close it? The answer is obvious - Carlson, who lives on the roof!
Well, all right, window workers are slobs ... Where did the owners look when the specialists were working ???
What do you think? Will the window above the basketball hoop last long?
I would love to see the smart guy who came up with such a creative idea!
It looks like it went like this:
The wall is cast, reinforced concrete. To make a window opening, formwork was bungled around the perimeter of the opening.
When concrete was poured, the left support could not withstand the mass of concrete and slightly (by 10 centimeters) sank. The left vertical shield was also somehow squeezed out.
And when the concrete hardened and the guys dismantled the wall formwork, the problem was already incorrigible.
Now it's up to the skill of the plasterers: they will smear, smear, caulk. As a result, the mosquito will not undermine the nose!
Do you know how many documents you need to collect in order for the city's environmental service to sign a permit to remove a tree?
If it is not emergency and quite healthy, they may not be allowed. Silently, too, it is not necessary to clean it. There will definitely be some activist with a heightened sense of justice - he will knock on the right place. Finally a fine.
Therefore, you have to make very unexpected decisions in your plans.
Well, what…? And the tree is intact, and the store is built! Look at this tree from inside the store :)
Hot southern country. Judging by the length of the shadows, it's noon. The worst heat ever!
Either a lunch break, or waiting for the delivery of materials. There is nowhere to hide from the scorching sun ...
Although ... Wait, wait ... Right now, the tractor driver will make a shade! Oppa!!!
If only the hydraulics survived! Well, safety... Yes, well, her in ...!
