I am not an ardent supporter of animal rights activists, especially when they encroach on my personal space - my home. Therefore, in the event of their invasion, I fight them with all available means.
So what…? Who invited them?
There are many ways to deal with mice. But today I want to offer those methods that will suit “lovers of our smaller brothers”. These methods are for those who want to catch a mouse and take it somewhere far, far away, where it will be as good as in a human dwelling ... - in a dense forest, i.e. into the natural habitat. Let him create his own habitat there, communicate with nature :)
However ... you can do what I did - give the mouse to the cat. She certainly knows what to do next with her :)
So, if you are “gotten” by mice, but you don’t have a cat and you don’t want to use a mousetrap, you can make simple traps. I confirm the effectiveness! All these devices actually catch live mice.
1. Bank and coin.
The two photos below show this simple design. Place a half-liter jar over the bait and prop it up with a coin. When entering or exiting from under the jar, it will touch the coin or jar and .... clap - she's trapped. For a 100% result, fix the bait on the inner wall of the jar - so that the jar is guaranteed to work.
2. Plastic bottle.
Pour a little sunflower oil into the bottle and grease the neck with it. The smell of the oil will attract rodents. She will fit inside the bottle, but she will not be able to get out.
3. A bottle over a bucket.
You need a plastic half-liter bottle or a shampoo bottle. We string the bottle on a metal rod and place it over the bucket - as in the photo. We put the bait on the bottle. We put some plank to the bucket - so that the mouse can approach the trap.
As soon as the mouse stands on the bottle, it will turn around and the mouse will fall into the bucket. Pour a little water into the bucket so that it is impossible for her to get out.
Also put the bait on the board, but only a small piece, otherwise the mouse will be satiated and will not climb onto the bottle :)
Have a good hunting!!!
