Many tend to make mistakes ... Such is human nature! We have the right.
Even in technical literature, in legislative acts, from time to time you can find funny typos or errors.
But what I want to demonstrate today ... "you can't pull on your ears"! A person who is far from the elementary concepts of electrical engineering, having read such an article, will not get anything useful for himself, moreover, he will pick up crazy ideas and thoughts. You look ... it will also carry to the masses :)
You can often hear such a phrase: "the Internet is a big garbage dump." The masterpiece described below is a confirmation of these words.
As a warm-up, review one of the paragraphs from one of this author's articles on transformers:
Perhaps someone will think that the text of the article is an automatic translation from a foreign site. Maybe... But... All the same, some logic must be present!
This is just a mockery of the reader. Maybe an April Fool's joke...
I will provide a link to the original article at the end of my review.
So… here is the first screenshot of this “wonderful” article. The article is devoted to ... walk-through switches and how to connect them :))) I highlighted the most fun places in red. Although, it was possible to allocate everything!
What is an expander??? What does it expand and where is it located? Maybe there's something I don't know???
And wire adapters and a trigger with a winding? Already from the second sentence, you begin to doubt that we are talking about pass-through switches.
But most of all I liked the "zero phase". Did you know about its existence?
I was also interested in the plate resistance of 55 ohms. What is it? contact resistance? Duc with such resistance, the switch can be thrown into the trash! Or I'm wrong?
Which block needs to be cleared? Mystery!
In the next screenshot, even the circuit is shown! It’s not clear just what it has to do with pass-through switches :)
And again incomprehensible expanders and controllers.
But the plate resistance is now 35 ohms! There are improvements!!!
In the same paragraph, the author decided to completely confuse the reader by introducing a new term: "dipole transceiver". And it also turns out that a linear type triode is used there (What kind of stray? Is it a transistor?)
Are we talking about walk-through switches???
Pay attention to the title of the paragraph: "Connecting with a two-wire cable ..." Do you imagine such a connection?
Mentioned in the text "first phase". So there must be a second and a third. So this is all for a three-phase network? Unexpected turn!
The resistance of the contactor has already been reduced to 5 ohms. There is hope that this will ever work!!!
Stop!!! Is there a contactor there too?
Damn ... Well, every line is a masterpiece!
Although ... In the middle of the paragraph, the first sensible thought appeared: “there may be problems with turning on the lamp ...” I came to this even on the first lines of the opus :)
And again there is a warning about possible malfunctions. As I understand it, the problems were originally incorporated into the design of this miracle switch !!!
Can someone explain to me what kind of resistance is mentioned in each paragraph?
All. I'm out of breath! Already the lungs hurt from hysterical laughter. You have a link to the original of this masterpiece.
