Everyone knows the simplest lock on the door in the form of ... a deadbolt. It was invented several thousand years ago and little has changed in its design over the years.
Nevertheless, I want to suggest that you slightly improve this mechanism, increasing its resistance to hacking.
A little about the design.
The basic design is not much different from the generally accepted scheme. In our case, this is:
- a steel strip on which 2 M12 nuts are welded
- a rod with a diameter of 8-10 mm as a valve.
- locking pin - to protect against unauthorized attempts to move the bolt longitudinally
- locking bar - to protect against unauthorized rotation of the bolt around its axis.
Starting position of the bolt:
The handle of the deadbolt falls down behind the locking pin - this will protect against attempts to longitudinally displace the deadbolt by a person from the outside.
The locking bar is lowered and does not allow the handle to rise in case of an attempt to turn the bolt.
If there is a gap between the door (gate) and the boat (column), do not be afraid with such a deadbolt that an intruder can open it from the outside.
A more detailed arrangement of the lock bar assembly
Moreover ... as experience has shown - even from the inside, no one could quickly open it.
